Testimonials

Cotswolds – Woodmancote

Quite simply, we’re not sure how we’d have coped without Giulia.

A complete new house build for novices is a vertiginous learning curve, but she reassuringly coaxed us up it. More specifically:

– She took our brief about our tastes, and never exerted her own. However, in providing options, she included ones which challenged our initial instincts, and we have some more exciting features as a consequence.

– Her skills span creative ideas on soft furnishings to preparing detailed lighting, electrical and joinery plans.

– She understands spaces and their liveability; foreseeing the end result and guided us away from compromises we would have regretted later. - She painted sketches of rooms, critically allowing us to see what they would look like in 3D, rather than an architect's 2D. This brought the house alive.

– She’s grippy: responding quickly to emails; delivering on time; in command of the whole process, and on our side, meaning she wanted what was best for us, not easiest for herself - or for others!

– She talked plain English to us, and technical-speak to techie people – not all are fluent in both.

– She’s patient with changes of minds, and is fun to work with, soothing a process which is joyful at time, yet headbangingly irritating at others.

London – Braithewaite

Giulia provided a full interior design service at our property in Wimpole Street, London, W1. Giulia made great efforts to understand exactly what we wanted to achieve practically. She was able to deliver this in a way that is so pleasing to live with. We are delighted with the end result and will definitely ask Giulia to help us again the next time we refurbish our property.

Sussex – Bell

Giulia Adams is a true professional who has designed many rooms for me over a period of 15 years. She is reliable, lovely to deal with and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of design. She is also a talented artist, which means she can paint/draw her various ideas she has of the particular room in question. This makes the end result easy to visualise for me. She has then dealt with budgets, ordering, meeting companies on site etc. all the way to completion of the project.

I would have no hesitation in recommending her and she would be the only designer I would ever use in future.

Got a question? We’d be pleased to hear from you.
